So pretty much my whole life I have wanted to be a nurse. But now that I'm headed that direction...I don't know if I can do it! So here are some other ideas I have thought of.

1) Interior Designer
Pros: Your house would be gorgeous.
Cons: You have to be able to draw....I can draw a stick figure.

2) Physical Therapist
Pros: Good pay.
Cons: boring

3) Teacher
Cons: 30 kids in one room. Bad pay.
Pros: lets face it....there are none.

4) Vet
Pros: I love animals!
Cons: I would end up with way too many pets and no husband.

5) Photographer
Pros: I would actually enjoy it.
Cons: I am not good at it!

So as you can see...I'm left with none of the above.
I HATE picking out my career....someone do it for me.

  2. I am sorry - it's hard to decide your life at such a young age! Don't do anything because of money. You have to love whatever you do. . .so I think teaching is definitely out :) And probably sports therapy and interior design. You can do whatever you love - it might take some time and patience, but you can do it. Hang in there!

  3. This is totally out there, but what about speech therapy? I only say that because I took a class when my son was having speech problems, and it was a fascinating class. And there is so much demand, and so many options. You can work in a hospital with accident or stroke victims, or in a school with young children, or in a private clinic. If I had not already become a musician, I think being a speech therapist would be rewarding.

But your mom is right--there are so many career options, and it's so hard to pick one when you're so young, and you have so many gifts and talents. I hope you find something you love!
